VISIT PORT WINE CELLARS

Established in 1756, by Royal permission from King D.José I, Real Companhia Velha, also known as Royal Oporto Wine Company, is the oldest company operating Port’s wine in Portugal. The cellars from the 2 century old company are located in Vila Nova de Gaia, facing the city of Oporto and store a wide selection of Tawny Port wines.

Aged in oak barrels, the family’s private wine collection, with over 16.000 references of Port wines rarities – the oldest dating from 1965 – causing this to be one of the most traditional and prestigious Port wine cellars, for over 260 years.
